Playbook for Life: College & Career Access & Success Game Plan

Program Philosophy:
Train Like a Pro, Plan for the Future

At the Playbook for Life Foundation, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to thrive beyond high school, regardless of their background or financial circumstances. Our College and Career Access & Success initiative is dedicated to guiding first-generation/low-income students and students of color through their post-secondary journey—whether that means higher education, vocational training, or direct entry into the workforce.

We are not just another educational service. We are a dedicated partner in your success, providing personalized support and resources to ensure you have access to the opportunities you deserve. Through this initiative, we offer:

  • College Introductory – Early exposure to college and career pathways to build awareness and confidence for future planning.

  • College Research & Applications – Helping students find the right fit and navigate the application process.

  • Financial Aid & Financial Literacy – Ensuring students understand and maximize scholarships, grants, and budgeting skills.

  • Essay Writing & Test Prep – Offering guidance to strengthen college applications and improve standardized test performance.

  • Scholarship Research – Connecting students to funding opportunities to reduce financial barriers.

  • Career Connections & Workforce Readiness – Providing mentorship, networking, and skill-building for those entering the job market.

  • 1 Year Post High School Graduation Support - Supports students whether they've entered college, vocational training or the workforce.
